Abominable Snowman:myth?

Have any of you wondered about the Abominable Snowman? This is a very controversial subject. So, I'd like to know your oppinion. Do you believe in him? Or do you believe that he's just a hoax created by kids, out to discover the gullible? Let me know. Also, watch the link I've posted. When you click on the link, it will take you to the Yahoo home page. From there, click on the article titled "U.S. filmaker believes he may have found Yeti prints."

How do science and holidays relate?

A lot of people celebrate hoidays, right? Well, how do science and your favorite holiday activities relate? What do you like to do around that special time of the year? Maybe you like to go get a tree with your family. You could find a percentage of approxiamatly how many trees are bought the week before Christmas. Also, say you like to shop on Christmas Eve. Have you ever wondered how many other people are out, getting last minute gifts? You could also try to find this out. There are many ways to get this information. You could google this information. Also, you could ask other people( I suggest a rounded number, such as fifty.) When you find these calculations, you can share them with me.

Reminder: this is for Earth Science!

Just want to remind you guys that this is a forum for Earth Science class posts, not to discuss stuff you could do on AIM. For example if I asked you guys to post about a conversation on how geology affected the beverage industry we could talk about your findings here. Believe it or not, geology of a region effected the water that was drawn and therefore only certain types of spirits could be brewed from that area, can anyone find examples?

Welcome to time shifted learning!

Hey folks! Thanks for visiting. Here is a place for you to ask some questions to me, or anyone else in class that might be reading. Perhaps you want to continue a conversation that we started in class about a particular topic. Or you might just want to stop by and take the latest poll that I have put up. Either way I hope you find this a useful educational tool. This is very similar to how most online classes are taken in college. Only two rules for using this: #1) You must leave your first name and last initial only! If you post without one I'll delete it. Rule #2) Positive blogging only, you have the right to disagree with someone's opinion, but keep everything constructive! Happy Blogging!
